Reliable Controls - Canada

About the Customer

Reliable Controls is a Canadian firm specializing in the production of smart building controllers. The company offers a portfolio of six products to clients globally. Following annual product updates, they conduct between 20 and 24 online training sessions to support more than 300 users. Previously, this process required providing every participant with a computer pre-configured with the necessary software. As the business expanded, the significant costs associated with this method prompted the team to seek a solution that could reduce expenses while simultaneously enhancing the client experience.

How They Discovered DaDesktop

Nate, the manager, came across DaDesktop via a Google search. He identified it as a cloud desktop solution tailored specifically for training environments. After contacting the DaDesktop team and personally testing the remote training capabilities, he decided to adopt it as their primary training platform.

Key Benefits

User-Friendly for All

Both instructors and clients appreciate the simplicity of using DaDesktop for remote training. There is no need to download software or possess advanced technical skills. Instructors simply set up a virtual classroom and share a link with attendees. Whether participants are located in the US, Brazil, or Africa, they can access the virtual desktop immediately by clicking the link, ready to begin learning.

Advanced Training Features

Learners can view both the instructor’s screen and their own interface simultaneously, facilitating easier comparison and progress tracking. Instructors benefit from an overview of all student screens, allowing for effective supervision and guidance. Additionally, the ability to take remote control of a student’s desktop ensures immediate assistance when needed. One European user described the experience as feeling "as if the trainer is right next to us."

Global Accessibility

The platform is scalable and operates seamlessly on a global scale. Training sessions can be initiated in any country instantly, or conducted with participants from multiple nations simultaneously. The flexibility to add or remove participants at any time enhances the adaptability of the training process.

Today, DaDesktop stands as one of Reliable Controls' most vital partners.
