GPU Support
DaDesktop offers two distinct approaches to GPU support:
- Physical GPU pass through (limited to select data centres). This method delivers full hardware acceleration by utilizing an actual physical graphics card.
- GPU simulation using LLVM Pipe. This approach functions seamlessly with our Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, though it is currently not compatible with Windows 10.
If you are uncertain whether your target application requires a GPU (for instance, Blender does), you might encounter an error message similar to the following:
"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Installing the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue"
