Setting Up Organizations
Typically, when users register, an organization is automatically established using the same name as their username.
However, there may be specific instances where it is beneficial to establish a new organization, such as under a corporate name, particularly when multiple users from a single company are utilizing DaDesktop.
NB: The creation of organizations is a feature reserved exclusively for Super Admins.

Establishing Organizations in DaDesktop
There are two methods for establishing an organization. The default method involves simultaneously creating an organization owner account. The second method does not require a new owner account to be created, for example, if one already exists.
Creating an Organization and the corresponding owner user account
- You must provide the account owner's email address, along with a password, and their first and last names. You can also select specific roles as needed. The currency is determined by the portal being used; for instance, dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn specifies CNY.
- The Organization name is mandatory and must be accompanied by a code. While the code should remain concise, please note that it cannot be modified once set.
- Settings for Allowing course recordings or for publishing these recordings apply to ALL recordings within the Organization. Similarly, the setting for Receiving Promotional Emails configures the preference for the entire organization.
- The option 'Allow Recordings' dictates whether Recordings are available across the entire organization.
- Private servers can be selected if necessary. Please be aware that a server must first be designated as 'Private' before it can be chosen here.
