DaDesktop and supported CPU architectures (ARM and AMD64)
DaDesktop ensures comprehensive support for the following CPU architectures, verified through automated build testing:
Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)
AMD
- AMD zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen),
- AMD zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 5 (ES, QS)
While our automated suite focuses on newer generations, we are aware that clients are still successfully operating on zen 1 (EPYC 7001) hardware.
Intel
- Xeon E3, Xeon E5, Xeon E7 v3 or newer (Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable
- i5, i7, i9 Haswell or newer
Although not part of the automated testing matrix, Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (Xeon E3, E5, E7) appear to function reliably.
ARM
- AWS Graviton 1, Graviton 2, Graviton 3 and Graviton 4
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 or newer
- Kunpeng 920 or newer
Performance is generally strong on most other models, including Apple Silicon. Should you wish to validate specific hardware configurations, please reach out to technical support.
Risc-V
We anticipate stable operation on Risc-V, though extensive testing has not yet been conducted.
